Clearlake is where my husband and are raising our growing family, and it’s the community that shaped who I am today. As a mom, local small business owner, and school board member, I know that real progress doesn't come from big promises or loud speeches, it comes from rolling up your sleeves and doing the work.
 

I’m running for City Council because our city deserves steady, practical, and approachable leadership. I want to bring common-sense solutions to City Hall and ensure every family feels heard, supported, and safe.
 

Real Experience. Practical Solutions.

• Steadfast School Board Leadership: As a second-term Board Member for the Konocti Unified School District, I listen to feedback from all perspectives—parents, staff, and community members—to inform responsible decisions that directly support our kids, schools, and families.
   

• Rotary Service & Community Roots: Having recently served two consecutive terms as President of the Rotary Club of Clear Lake, I collaborated with local business owners, neighbors, and volunteers to organize hands-on service projects and raise critical funds for our community’s immediate needs.
   

• Small Business Owner: As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker running my own private practice offering specialized youth coping skills programs across Lake County, I understand firsthand the complex hurdles of navigating local budgeting, permitting, and the everyday challenges of operating a small business in a rural community.

• Boots-on-the-Ground Background: My career in social work started directly in the field—working directly with adults facing severe mental illness and homelessness, leading Children’s Services teams, and managing county programs. I know how to navigate complex systems while keeping the focus on real people.

To me, true leadership and integrity mean more than just pointing out problems. It means stepping up to be part of the solution—and creating space for our community to get involved, too.
 

My focus for Clearlake is simple:

• Invest in Prevention: Supporting our youngest residents early so they can reach their potential and build strong foundations.

• Keep Local Government Accessible: Making sure city processes are clear, practical, and welcoming for local businesses and families alike.

• Bring People Together: Working collaboratively with local organizations, schools, and neighbors to tackle tough issues like public safety, homelessness, and local economic growth.
   

I know our community, I care deeply about our future, and I am ready to continue serving you with steady, trustworthy leadership.
